Panagiotis is an Internist and Rheumatologist. His passion for sonography led him to participate in numerous Sonography courses on german national and international level in order to deepen his knowledge in Sonography of the musculoskeletal system, vessels and salivary glands- body parts often affected by inflammatory rheumatic musculoskeletal diseases.
Until September 2025 he was working as a Consultant und head of US-Department in Rheumazentrum Ruhrgebiet in Herne Germany, also serving as an Ultrasound Demonstrator to his colleagues.
Since 2022 he has been Tutor and Speaker in MSUS-Courses in Germany and since 2024 in EULAR endorsed Courses supervising and teaching medical professionals. Furthermore, he has lead since 2024 Courses specialised in Ultrasound of large Vessels affected by rheumatic diseases (for instance Giant-Cell Vasculitis, Takayasu Arteritis).
After 13 years in Germany he works in his own private practice in Kalamaria Thessaloniki.
